| Hey guys! I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving with their friends
and family. I know that even though I don't get to celebrate it with
everyone that I wanted to, today is going to be great! I am thankful
for so much, and God is the giver of all of it. One thing in particular
that I am thankful for is Bryan. As of yesterday, we have been dating 6 MONTHS!
I am so thankful for his patient, caring, and loving attitude towards
me and everybody else! I love you all, and enjoy your thanksgiving
break. Yay! No school!

| Hey everybody!!! Well, it has been a long time since I updated, so I
thought I would briefly tell what is happening in my life. Last Monday
night, Bryan's grandmother had a stroke which has left her unable to
use the right side of her body. As of now, it is looking as though she
will be moving in with Bryan's family once her therapy is complete.
Please pray that this be a smooth transition for all. Also, last
weekend was the SRC Youth Retreat at Whispering Pines which went really
well. The lodge was really nice and I am thinking this place may become
our new fall retreat spot which is just fine with me! On Sunday, I
picked up my new car!!! It is a red 2001 Ford Escape! However,
Monday morning, I could not get it to start! Long story short, the
people who sold me the car have fixed it and I didn't have to pay a
dime! Yesterday was the first day that I drove it to school! Yay!!!
Well, school is crazy as usual, but that will never change. I think
that is currently everything, so I am going to go get ready for
school now! Have a great week! Love ya, Rachel King

| Hey guys!!! Sorry it has been so long since I posted. I just haven't felt like it merited my immediate time or thoughts. Anyways, yesterday made 4 months that I have been dating Bryan! He wouldn't tell me what we were doing until we got into Nashville. Then he said that we were going to walk around in Centennial Park and go see the Parthenon. I was surprised and excited, but then he was driving away from Nashville! So he finally explained that he had lied to me, and we were really going to Hendersonville to the live DVD taping of Denver and the Mile High Orchestra! Oh my goodness! They are my favorite big band ever, and I love seeing them in concert! Between me and Nikki, we have all the cds! Anyways, I was really excited and surprised. We had soooo much fun! At the end of the night, I was thinking about how appropriate it was for us. D&MHO's songs are all worship songs in the form of big band music, so Bryan and I basically choose to go worship God for our 4 month celebration! It was so appropriate because as a couple, our main goal is to keep God first, and I believe we succeeded last night! Thanks honey! I love you so much! Everybody have a great day, and I hope to see you all at Praise In The Park tomorrow! Bye. | | |
| Hey guys!!! Well, I guess I should update since it has been a long time. I am so excited that we are out of school tomorrow! I found out at 5:00 and I stopped doing homework, ate dinner, and went to Annie's house! We had fun just hanging out, drinking coffee (cafinated!!!), and watching Fresh Prince of Bellaire! So far, my plan for tomorrow is to get up like normal and do my homework and clean the house, then I hope to be able to go eat lunch with Bryan if the weather is not horrible. Some time tomorrow, I also have to get gas!!! Call me if you plan anything fun!!! Oh, and I hope to be able to go see my friend, Daniel, while he attempts to sell umbrellas to people on campus!!! It shall be fun! Have a great day!! I love you, Rachel King | | |
